Our Story

Danie Baron is a young and vibrant designer who enjoys getting to know her clients and making their dream gowns into reality. She specializes in simple and classic silhouettes that accentuate the body, but adds a twist to each dress to make it special. Whether it be lace accents, intricate beading or dramatic back details, each Danie Baron dress was thoroughly thought of and sewn to perfection.

Danie started her fashion journey in the dance and figure skating world. As a former ballet and ice skating instructor, she would design and produce costumes for her students. She decided to take up fashion design in 2013 in the School of Fashion and the Arts (SoFA). In 2015 and 2016, Danie evolved from making costume orders for her students to producing prom gowns and launching her own ready to wear line. In 2017, she quit her job as a instructor and decided to be a full time fashion designer. She rebranded to Danie Baron Designs, opened its home office and made her first bridal gown. A year later, Danie decided to concentrate on the wedding industry. Since then Danie has made numerous custom pieces for different clients and events.
